Tallawah works to connect the women leaders through a support network, equip them through training and capacity building, and facilitates access to key decision-making platforms to amplify their voices.
How do we achieve this goal?
For Tallawah, strengthening the leadership capacity of women grassroots leaders is only the beginning. Our goal is to end the invisibility of women survivor leaders, to position them as change agents and opinion leaders and to create opportunities for them to shape public attitudes on ending violence against women and the rights of survivors.
With our Women Leadership and Development Program, women leaders of survivor or grassroots organisations can strengthen their knowledge and skills in managing their organisations, enabling them to achieve the goals they aspire to.
Tallawah’s mission is dedicated to achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls and aligns with target 5.1, 5.2, 5.5 and 5.c of the UN Sustainable Goals to: "Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls."
