Support Flavia
Achora Flavia Onen
My name is Achora Flavia Onen. I am 23 years old and proudly Ugandan. I am the daughter of Aber Santa, a strong woman who was abducted and held in captivity for many years. I was born during that captivity, and my earliest years were spent in a place of suffering and struggle. When we finally returned to Uganda in 2003, life was far from easy.

My mother and I worked tirelessly, doing small jobs here and there, just to survive. Now my mom has a stall at the market selling some foodstuffs. Most of what little we earned went to food and medicine, leaving very little for my education. As a result, my academic journey has been on and off, full of interruptions and hardship. I finished my first year at Kampala International University doing Entrepreneurship and Theology, but I don’t have the money to complete my studies.

Despite these challenges, I have never lost my love for learning. Education, to me, is the key to breaking the cycle of struggle and building a better future. My greatest hope is to complete the final two years of my studies, so that I can gain the skills and opportunities I need to stand on my own, support my family, and give back to my community. This is why I humbly reach out to you today. With your support, I believe I can finally finish what I started and turn my dreams into reality.
